For the Creamy Cajun Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Season and Sear the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter. Add cream and broth, then whisk in Parmesan, Dijon, red pepper flakes, and more Cajun seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Finish and Serve: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
