Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas thoroughly and mix in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Stir in the rolled oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt into the wet mixture, mixing until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter to distribute them evenly without melting.
- Pour Batter into Pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the bars turn golden brown and are set in the center.
