Ingredients
Scale
Liquid Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk (regular or vanilla)
- 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free or vegan)
Dry and Flavoring Ingredients
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 tbsp Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend (or to taste)
- 3 tbsp Dutch processed cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Measure and bring all ingredients to room temperature to ensure smooth blending and better texture.
- Add Ingredients to Blender: Place almond milk, heavy cream (or coconut cream), creamy peanut butter, monk fruit sweetener, Dutch cocoa powder, and sea salt (if using) into the blender. Adding liquids first helps ease the blending process.
- Blend Until Smooth: Start blending at low speed, gradually increasing to high. Continue blending for 30-60 seconds or until the mixture is creamy and free of peanut butter chunks.
- Adjust Sweetness and Consistency: Taste the smoothie and add more sweetener if desired, blending briefly after each addition. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of almond milk; if too thin, blend in a few ice cubes to thicken.
- Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve right away. For an extra touch, garnish with cocoa powder, whipped cream, or melted peanut butter drizzle.
Notes
- For a dairy-free or vegan option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream.
- Adjust the sweetness according to your preference using more or less sweetener.
- Room temperature ingredients blend more smoothly and produce a creamier texture.
- Adding ice cubes is optional but can be used to thicken or chill the smoothie.
- Use Dutch processed cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor.
