  • 1 cup Dr Pepper Cherry soda

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the cake: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, Dr Pepper Cherry soda, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract if using. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Add cherries: Gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes.
