  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. Drain and set aside.
