Description

These Juicy Teriyaki Parmesan Burgers with American Cheese are a gourmet twist on a classic favorite.   • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Additional Ingredients:

  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns (toasted)
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomato slices
  • red onion slices
  • mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon Bacon Jam (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Mix the Burger Patty: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, teriyaki sauce, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  2. Shape and Cook: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties. Cook on a preheated grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  3. Add Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover until melted.
  4. Assemble: Spread mayonnaise on the toasted buns, then layer with lettuce and tomato. Place the burger patty on top, add Bourbon Bacon Jam, red onion slices, and the top bun. Serve hot.
