- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 4–5 drops green food coloring (optional)
Decoration
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, melted, for drizzle
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to easily lift the fudge out later.
- Melt Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- Add Flavors: Remove the pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and green food coloring if using. Mix thoroughly to incorporate.
- Pour and Spread: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Decorate: Let the fudge cool for 10 minutes at room temperature, then drizzle melted white chocolate over the top for an elegant finish.
- Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours until it becomes firm and set.
- Serve: Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into 36 small squares and enjoy.
Notes
- For extra texture and festive flavor, stir in crushed peppermint candies before spreading the fudge into the pan.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks to maintain freshness.
