Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it lightly.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and oil.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry: Alternate adding dry mixture and milk to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Bake: Fill muffin cups, bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Prepare Topping: Mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush muffin tops with melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar.
