Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Coating:

  • 10 cups water
  • 2/3 cup baking soda

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Chocolate Dip:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms. Knead until smooth. Let rise.
  2. Boil and Bake: Preheat oven. Boil water and baking soda. Divide dough, shape into bites, boil briefly, then bake until golden.
  3. Coat and Serve: Brush warm pretzel bites with melted butter and coat in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Make chocolate dip by melting chocolate chips with warm cream. Serve warm bites with chocolate dip.

Notes
