Description

These delicious Ranch Pinwheels are a perfect no-bake appetizer featuring creamy ranch-flavored filling rolled inside soft flour tortillas. Easy to make and customizable with your favorite add-ins, they make a great party snack or light appetizer served chilled or at room temperature.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 ounce packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red bell pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Wrap

  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  2. Add Mix-Ins: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped cooked bacon, green onions, and optional red bell pepper. Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  3. Spread on Tortillas: Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly spread the ranch cheese mixture over each tortilla, covering fully to the edges.
  4. Roll and Chill: Carefully roll each tortilla tightly into a log shape. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and set.
  5. Slice and Serve: After chilling, unwrap the rolls and slice each log into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Make ahead: Prepare the pinwheels up to a day in advance and keep refrigerated.
  • Lighten it up by using low-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
  • Try variations by adding chopped olives, diced ham, or spinach for extra flavor and texture.
