Ingredients
Scale
Peach Lemonade Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5–6 lemons)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 5 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint and peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Blend the Peaches: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth to create a peach puree.
- Strain the Puree: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp, ensuring a smooth lemonade texture.
- Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Combine and Adjust: Pour in the remaining 4 cups of cold water and stir to combine all ingredients evenly. Taste your lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and to serve it cold.
- Serve: Serve the lemonade over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves and peach slices if desired for an attractive presentation.
Notes
- For a fizzy twist, replace 1–2 cups of cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
- Frozen peaches can be used instead of fresh peaches; thaw them before blending for best results.
