Description

This Refreshing Peach Lemonade combines ripe peaches with fresh lemon juice to create a vibrant, sweet, and tangy summer beverage. Perfectly chilled and optionally garnished with fresh mint and peach slices, this homemade lemonade is a delightful way to stay cool and refreshed.

Ingredients

Scale

Peach Lemonade Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 5–6 lemons)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 5 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint and peach slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Peaches: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth to create a peach puree.
  2. Strain the Puree: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp, ensuring a smooth lemonade texture.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  4. Combine and Adjust: Pour in the remaining 4 cups of cold water and stir to combine all ingredients evenly. Taste your lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and to serve it cold.
  6. Serve: Serve the lemonade over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves and peach slices if desired for an attractive presentation.

Notes

  • For a fizzy twist, replace 1–2 cups of cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Frozen peaches can be used instead of fresh peaches; thaw them before blending for best results.
