Description

A delicious and comforting skillet dish featuring juicy garlic parmesan chicken paired with crispy oven-roasted potato wedges, topped with melted mozzarella cheese and a flavorful Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • â…“ cup Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Potatoes

  • 4-5 small/medium potatoes, cut into wedges
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Paprika (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and roast potatoes: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss potato wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  2. Season chicken: In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. Sauté garlic and cook chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. Add sauce and simmer: Reduce the heat to low and pour the Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce over the chicken. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to coat the chicken well.
  5. Melt cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
  6. Serve: Plate the cheesy garlic parmesan chicken alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with Parmesan or a blend of Italian cheeses for a different flavor profile.
  • For crispier potatoes, soak the wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning and roasting.
  • If Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce is unavailable, use any creamy garlic parmesan sauce or make your own with mayonnaise, garlic, parmesan cheese, and a splash of hot sauce.
  • Make sure to flip the potatoes halfway through roasting to ensure even browning.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for food safety.
