Ingredients
Scale
Chicken
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce (enough to coat chicken)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Potatoes
- 5 medium-sized potatoes, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika (to season potatoes)
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to evenly coat.
- Layer Potatoes in Slow Cooker: Place the seasoned potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker, forming an even layer.
- Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, ensuring all sides are well coated.
- Add Chicken to Slow Cooker: Lay the seasoned chicken breasts directly on top of the potatoes inside the slow cooker.
- Add Garlic: Spread the minced garlic evenly over the top of the chicken breasts for intense flavor infusion.
- Coat with Sauce: Pour enough Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce over the chicken to thoroughly coat it, sealing in moisture and flavor.
- Slow Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and potatoes are tender.
- Add Cheese: About 30 minutes before the cooking time ends, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and let the cheese melt completely.
- Serve: Once melted and bubbly, serve the chicken and potatoes warm. Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs for an added flavor boost.
Notes
- For best results, use uniform potato sizes to ensure even cooking.
- If you prefer a lower fat option, opt for reduced-fat mozzarella or skip the cheese.
- Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce adds authentic flavor, but you can substitute with any garlic parmesan sauce.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
- Adding fresh herbs such as parsley or basil at serving adds freshness.
